It’s been wonderful to enjoy so much sunshine this summer, although the prolonged hot and dry weather has certainly presented its challenges, with very little rain over the past two months. We’ve been doing everything we can to keep the trees well watered, but with hundreds of trees across the site, balancing their needs with the need to conserve water has been a challenging task. We do have a water bowser behind the shelter, which families are welcome to us when they visit.
The weather has started to cool off and we hope to get rain in time for trees to recover.
As families might know, we will replace trees which have been provided by us and planted within the last 10 years. If you have concerns, please do not hesitate in contacting us.
