We have a special area for ashes to be buried or scattered. Our ashes bank is a peaceful setting, covered with trees and wildflowers. Families may choose where their loved one’s ashes will be buried.
By burying or scattering your loved one’s ashes at Humber Woodland you can be safe in the knowledge that the ashes won’t be disturbed. You can also visit any time during our opening hours.
While our site is maintained, we aim for a balance between wildness and a high level of care and respect for bereaved families. Native flowers can be planted to ensure our wild habitat continues to thrive.
Some areas of grass are mown and others are left long. This encourages wild flowers to become established and helps to provide a habitat for butterflies and other invertebrates.
