Planting Day CANCELLED

5th November 2020

Sadly due to Lockdown 2 we have had to cancel our Planting Day on 7th November.

If the lockdown is lifted, we still hope to go ahead with the Wreath Making Day on 12th December and will have both bulbs and wild flowers available then. If you would like to come, we would be pleased to see you.
As with the Planting Days, we are asking anyone who wishes to join us to please let us know the time when they expect to arrive. This will help us to observe the rules and make sure that no more than six people are in the Shelter at any one time.

Alternatively, if you plan to visit on any other day, and would like some bulbs, do let us know – we would be pleased to leave some bulbs for you to collect.

If you would like any wild flower plants, please also let us know. We have the following in 9cm pots, at £4 per pot. We can plant these for you, if you are unable to get here, at £5 per plot:
Ox-eye Daisy, Field Scabious, Devils Bit Scabious, Golden Rod, Self Heal, Betony, Primrose, Cowslip, Foxglove, Buttercup, Teasel, St John’s Wort, Tansy, Yarrow, Lady’s Bedstraw, Common Mallow, Ragged Robin, Common Toadflax.

Do email us at diane@humberwoodland.co.uk (or call on 01568 760443) if you would like to buy some wild flowers or if you would like to book in to the Wreath Making Day.

Many apologies for this inconvenience. We only hope that this virus will be brought under control before too long. In the meantime, please do let us know if there is anything we can do to be of help anytime.

Stay safe everyone.
