Autumn Bulb Planting 2017

The long-awaited Indian summer has arrived, bringing some beautiful sunny days to enjoy the gorgeous autumn colours as the trees at Humber Woodland begin to shed their leaves. Soon it will be winter, a time when nature goes to sleep and we, too, can feel rather like hibernating, so now is a good time to do something positive to encourage us to look forward to next year, when the natural world will spring back into life once again.

We invite everyone, who has a loved one buried at Humber Woodland of Remembrance, to join us at our Bulb Planting Days on 28th October and 4th November: we will be at the Hop Kiln between 10am and 3pm, with tea and coffee and a selection of English Bluebell and wild Daffodil bulbs for each family to plant on their loved-one’s grave.

Plantwild’s selection of wild flower plants will also be available to buy, so please do come along for a chat and to see which plants you might like to try.
